Max Zahedi is a candidate for Mayor of the District of North Vancouver in the municipal election on Saturday, October 17, 2026. He is running as an independent, with no slate and no party.
Max has lived in North Vancouver for 38 years. He holds an MBA in Global Management and a BSc in Computer Science, has owned and operated businesses, managed operations, written policy and procedures for a Crown corporation, and served on three strata councils.
The campaign's first priority is accountability for the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant, whose estimate rose from $700 million in 2013 to $3.86 billion in 2024, as reported by Metro Vancouver. The full plan also covers property taxes, housing, traffic, public safety, parks and local business, and says for each item which level of government is actually responsible.
