Municipal campaigns in British Columbia are funded by individual people, in capped amounts, on the public record. No corporations, no unions, no anonymous money. That is a good system, and this campaign follows it exactly.

This campaign will not accept a single dollar online until the financial agent has approved the payment system and the Elections BC requirements are confirmed in writing. Taking money before that is done would be the opposite of what this campaign is about.

Residential address in British Columbia Elections BC requires the campaign to record and report this for contributions of $100 or more.

I am a resident of British Columbia. I am a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. This contribution is my own money. I am not being reimbursed by anyone, and I am not contributing on behalf of another person or an organization. I understand that contributions of $100 or more are publicly reported.

When the processor is connected it will support credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, so a contribution on a phone takes one tap rather than a full form.

Who can contribute

Individuals only. Organizations, corporations, unions and associations cannot contribute to a BC municipal campaign.
BC residents. You must be a resident of British Columbia.
Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Your own money. You cannot be reimbursed by anyone, and you cannot contribute on someone else's behalf.

Limits and disclosure

The 2026 individual limit is $1,429.70 per campaign.
Contributions of $100 or more are publicly reported, including the donor's name.
Anonymous contributions are restricted and strictly limited.
Municipal campaign donations do not receive tax receipts. A contribution here is not tax-deductible.

Another way to help

Time is worth more than money in a district this size

North Vancouver is small enough that conversations still decide elections. If you cannot contribute — or you would rather not — an evening of door knocking is worth more to this campaign than a cheque.
