Fund a campaign that owes you an explanation
Municipal campaigns in British Columbia are funded by individual people, in capped amounts, on the public record. No corporations, no unions, no anonymous money. That is a good system, and this campaign follows it exactly.
Contribute by Interac e-Transfer

- Send an Interac e-Transfer from your own bank account to donate@maxformayor.ca. Autodeposit is on, so there is no security question.
- In the message, put your full name and your residential address. The financial agent must record both for every contribution, and reports contributions of $100 or more to Elections BC by name.
- Check that you are eligible. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in British Columbia, giving your own money, not reimbursed by anyone and not on behalf of anyone. Companies, unions and other organisations cannot contribute.
- The 2026 limit is $1,429.70 per individual, per campaign.
- Contributions of $100 or more are publicly reported with the contributor's name.
- Municipal contributions do not receive a tax receipt.
- A contribution that cannot be matched to an eligible person's name and address is returned.
Contributions are received and recorded by Pegah Kebritchi, Financial Agent (pegah@maxformayor.ca). Questions about a contribution go to her, not to the candidate.
Card payments are not offered. A card button takes money from anyone with a card, with no way to check that the contributor is eligible before the money lands; an e-Transfer comes from one named Canadian account at a time.

- Individuals only. Organizations, corporations, unions and associations cannot contribute to a BC municipal campaign.
- BC residents. You must be a resident of British Columbia.
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Your own money. You cannot be reimbursed by anyone, and you cannot contribute on someone else's behalf.
Limits and disclosure
- The 2026 individual limit is $1,429.70 per campaign.
- Contributions of $100 or more are publicly reported, including the donor's name.
- Anonymous contributions are restricted and strictly limited.
- Municipal campaign donations do not receive tax receipts. A contribution here is not tax-deductible.

Another way to help
Time is worth more than money in a district this size
North Vancouver is small enough that conversations still decide elections. If you cannot contribute — or you would rather not — an evening of door knocking is worth more to this campaign than a cheque.
