Advance voting in the District of North Vancouver: three days, two places, what to bring

You do not have to wait for Saturday, October 17, 2026. The District has published three advance voting days.

The District of North Vancouver has published its advance voting days for the 2026 election: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at District Hall; Saturday, October 10, 2026 at District Hall and Parkgate Community Centre; and Monday, October 12, 2026 at District Hall and Parkgate Community Centre. Voting places are open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..

Note the places per day. Parkgate Community Centre opens for advance voting only on the second and third days; a Seymour or Parkgate resident who turns up on the first day will be sent to District Hall.

If you are on the voters list, you need no identification. If you are not registered, or you have moved or changed your name, you can register at the voting place with two pieces of identification that together show who you are and where you live, at least one with your signature; if none of it shows your address, you can make a solemn declaration of where you live.

General voting day is Saturday, October 17, 2026. All dates and places are set by the District of North Vancouver and are subject to its election bylaw, so check the District's voting page before you go.

Corrected September 18, 2026: this post first said that every voter must bring two pieces of identification. A voter already on the list needs none, as the District's information for voters, linked below, says.
