Max's priorities, applied here

Capilano Road and Edgemont Boulevard are District roads; the Highway 1 interchanges and the approaches to the Lions Gate Bridge are the Province's. Max's construction calendar covers the District side, and one North Shore voice at the Mayors' Council is how the bridge and highway get attention.
Edgemont Village is a designated village centre. Max's position is growth in the centres at a scale that fits them, with the residential streets around them protected.
About 45% of a District tax bill goes to agencies the District does not control. Max's commitment is a budget residents can read, every increase explained in plain language in advance, and the wastewater plant's cost accounted for in public.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026 you can vote at any of the 22 voting places across the District — you are not assigned to one. The District's map on this site's voting page shows the ones nearest you. Voting places are open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Advance voting is Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at District Hall; Saturday, October 10, 2026 at District Hall and Parkgate Community Centre; Monday, October 12, 2026 at District Hall and Parkgate Community Centre. Bring two pieces of identification, one with your signature and one showing your name and your District address.

Upper Capilano as the District of North Vancouver defines it on its own "In your neighbourhood" pages: Grousewoods, Cleveland, Canyon Heights, Handsworth, Highlands, Edgemont. Residents also call parts of it Edgemont Village. Central Lonsdale, Lower Lonsdale, Grand Boulevard and Calverhall are in the City of North Vancouver, a separate municipality that elects its own mayor and council on the same day. If you live there, this election is not yours — the City's is.
