Confirmed fact The largest community area in the District, bounded by the Seymour River, Deep Cove, Burrard Inlet and the forests of Mount Seymour. The District describes it as family-oriented, with Mount Seymour, two golf courses and the trail network, and it is also home to the Tsleil-Waututh Nation.

Mount Seymour Parkway is a District road; its connection to Highway 1 belongs to the Province. Max's construction calendar applies to the Parkway and the streets that feed it, and a united North Shore voice at the Mayors' Council is how the highway end gets attention.
Seymour backs onto the forest. Max's public-safety priority includes wildfire readiness and emergency preparedness, which the District runs with North Shore Emergency Management, and he wants the plans and the drills reported to residents, not just filed.

Chemtrade safety: I will seek a plain-language public summary of what the District can enforce, which agencies oversee other risks, and professionally prepared shelter-in-place and evacuation guidance. Conservation areas: Where the District has lawful authority, I will seek to require that developments that could affect the foreshore or habitat come with the studies, safeguards and monitoring the responsible authorities can lawfully require, seeking collaboration with Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Jobs: I will vote to keep the employment land that adopted plans set aside, and propose that any change show its effect on industrial activity and regional designations. Seymour as the District of North Vancouver defines it on its own "In your neighbourhood" pages: Riverside, Seymour Heights, Blueridge, McCartney Woods, Windridge, Windsor Park, Northlands, Parkway, Parkgate, Indian River, Roche Point. Central Lonsdale, Lower Lonsdale, Grand Boulevard and Calverhall are in the City of North Vancouver, a separate municipality that elects its own mayor and council on the same day. If you live there, this election is not yours — the City's is.
